Welcome to watercolour works round two, the second quick painting in which I am attempting to loosen up my hand, be freer with the paint and capture the feel of the subject rather than it in exact detail. I think we’re getting there.
Barn owls are amazing, beautiful animals. They are so soft and elegant yet are the perfect predators; their wings have fine, comb like barbs on their feathers so they can cut through the air silently and pounce on their prey unheard. Wonderful. (Not for the mouse.)
