There comes a time – for me it’s at the grand old age of 26 – when you start to realise that there’s no point flogging a dead horse. We grow up being told that you need a career, a job, a profession. It’s always a. It’s what do you want to do? with the expectation of a one word answer. That’s not going to work for everyone and after a decade of searching for the one (job) I’ve realised we have more flexibility than that.
After spending two years in an established London Literary Agency and a building a digital publishers, I have moved on to working freelance and utilising all the wonderful, invaluable things I learnt whilst working in publishing. Alongside this, I’ll make time to indulge my hobbies such as design, cycling, ceramics, gardening and baking.
